Biographical Info
I’m a Professional Counselor who holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Services and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling, with a concentration in Trauma Studies. Over my 10+ years as a dedicated provider working with individuals, groups, and families, I’ve garnered numerous awards and certifications in Domestic Violence, Suicide Prevention, and Grief and Loss. My work incorporates working with people of color , utilizing a client-centered approach with tools derived from CBT, Motivational interviewing and other evidenced-based practices. I currently serve as a provider for Black Men Heal, a non-profit organization that promotes, advocates and provide mental health services to men of color and founder of Beauty4Ashes, an organization empowering teen girls. My goal is to educate and train communities about the importance of mental health. My passion is to transform the lives of people by providing healing in a safe and supportive environment on their journey to wholeness in becoming their better self.
